1. Data Controller
Pursuant to Art. 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - EU Regulation 2016/679), the Data Controller of the personal data collected through the platform 10000nautica.it is Salvatore Torregrossa, with registered office at Via Carlo Del Prete 55F, 90135 Palermo (PA), VAT number 07239850824.
2. Type of Data Collected and Legal Basis
- Boater Data: First name, last name, phone/WhatsApp number, email address and technical details of the vessel. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Geolocation Data (GPS): Geographic coordinates detected by the device or manual indication of the port/marina. Legal basis: explicit consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
- Partner / Diving Technician Data: Company name, contact person, email, phone, VAT number and areas of operation. Legal basis: performance of the agreement and fiscal/accounting obligations (Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.c GDPR).
3. Purposes of Processing
Personal data is processed for the following legitimate purposes: direct contact between the boater and the diving technician or operating supplier in the selected area; sending service notifications via email or automated messaging; administrative, accounting and fiscal management of intermediation and e-commerce services; compliance with legal obligations.
4. Web Statistics and Cookies: Google Analytics
The Platform uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect and examine, in aggregate and statistical form, information on users' browsing behavior. Data collected: IP address (anonymized), browsing data, unique device identifiers and tracking cookies. Legal basis: user consent (cookie banner) or legitimate interest for aggregate analysis. Place of processing: Ireland / USA.
5. Data Recipients and Third-Party Services
The collected data will never be sold to third parties for marketing purposes without consent. The data may be communicated to: partner diving operators and technicians, IT service providers (hosting and email), payment gateways (e.g. Stripe). No credit card data is stored on 10000Nautica servers.
6. Retention Period (Data Retention)
Data related to the provision of the intermediation service will be kept for the time necessary to complete the intervention. Administrative/accounting and invoicing data will be kept for 10 years in compliance with fiscal obligations (Art. 2220 of the Civil Code).
7. Data Subject Rights (Art. 15-22 GDPR)
The user has the right to request at any time access to their data, rectification, erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"), restriction of processing and data portability by sending a written communication to info@10000nautica.it.
8. Right to Lodge a Complaint
The user has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) if they believe that the processing violates applicable regulations.
